Mission Statement
The primary purpose of the South Haven Early Childhood Center is to prepare our students for the transition from PreK to elementary childhood education. This process will include the development of early mathematics, literacy, social and emotional skills in accordance with established New York state standards. Enhancing the development of each child's intellectual character and physical abilities will insure that each child acquires the basic knowledge and skills required to be successful as they continue their educational journey.
The Patchogue YMCA UPK Program in partnership with the South Country School District is committed to providing a safe, supportive learning environment for young children to learn, grow and develop social skills. Our teachers create a warm and loving atmosphere while offering a developmentally-appropriate, engaging curriculum, where children can play, discover and learn.
