South Country pre-K students at the South Haven Early Childhood Center were all smiles at their prom on May 16. Dressed in their best, the giddy students walked the red carpet and danced the afternoon away with their friends.

The primary purpose of the South Haven Early Childhood Center is to prepare our students for the transition from PreK to elementary childhood education. This process will include the development of early mathematics, literacy, social and emotional skills in accordance with established New York state standards. Enhancing the development of each child's intellectual character and physical abilities will insure that each child acquires the basic knowledge and skills required to be successful as they continue their educational journey.
